I have a 70 Barracuda I bought a few weeks ago. It has a 340 with a 727 trans. I want to add an electric fan and in the future EFI. I noticed there isn't any where to add the temp sensors. There is only the stock temp sending unit on the intake manifold. Is there some where on the engine block I can use? Anyone have any recommendations?

Buy a sending unit for an electric fan, then splice the wires or add a connector to run your temp gauge.
If you buy a new fan set up it will likely have a sender included; these usually are temp rated. Also, you should definitely run the fan(s) off a relay(s). The wiring is super simple for a four pin relay.

I found an adaptor that will allow you to install 3 sending units to one outlet. I have the relays and plan on setting up the fans soon. Thanks

If you have a heater you could tap in to the hot water "out" of the engine.
Those sensors work better if they are in water flow - not a dead end.
A dead end can trap an air bubble and the sensor may not work very well.

I welded a bung on a slightly longer bypass outlet for my sensor.
