1970 Cuda Battery

I need a new battery for my 1970 Cuda with a 340 motor. Does anyone know what group number battery 24 or 27 and the CCA that it came with . I had a group 25 battery with
600 CCA in the car.

If you don't need the factory look, I am using a NAPA Legend Premium Group 24 with 725 CCA for my big blocks and small block 340. Very good battery.

I used to buy expensive batteries but now I get the cheapest ones with the longest warranty, keep the receipt and make sure they are fresh stock and keep them charged up. If a battery has been sitting in the store for a long time (especially on the floor) it is doomed before you even carry it out the door.
