All headlights work. Now low or high beams don't work. Power in and out of headlight switch, in and out of dimmer. Replaced dimmer because it had power out of both ends regardless of position. Replacement does the same thing. Should I believe the light green wire and in-line fuse is bad ?

I'm going to make sure I have power at the firewall inside first. I have no power at the bulkhead in the engine compartment. You may very well be correct as the car sat for thirty eight years in a garage. The lights did work when I got it back together and running, That's what has me perplexed. The wiring diagram shows an in line fuse in the interior but I dont know where. Thanks.

My Dad and Brother built this car in the 70's. My brothers passed away in 1980 and we were stealing parts off of it for our race car. My Dad couldn't get himself to put it back together and he passed two years ago. I had the block machined, had a trans built. recore radiator, brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, trans lines, gas tank, etc, etc. 440 6 pak, 727 trans, slap stick. Back on the road.

There is not a fuse for the headlight circuit. It is a safety issue. The headlight switch has an internal 20 amp circuit breaker for the headlights. This was enabled the possibility of a reset while driving at night. The parking lights did have a 20 amp fuse.

It is the same safety precaution for the wiper setup, whether two speed or three speed. Each setup had a circuit breaker internal in the two or variable / three fixed speed wiper switch. Again, a safety feature.

That explains a lot. I want to thank everybody for their kind response. So many forums just bash inquiries. Ended up being a broken ground connection at the core support. Happy trails.
