70survivor

Hi everyone, just introducing myself here. My name is Rob and I just acquired my first Mopar of my life, a 70' survivor Cuda. A local craigslist add got me intrigued and the car ended up being just a few blocks away from me as a "running and driving project".... and I drove it home! (ha ha, only a few blocks away but still, it drove like it wanted to escape prison). How would you feel if you've been locked up for 40 years?? The tires are from when the car was parked in mid 80's. A very nice sounding 340 automatic car in Sublime Green ("High Impact" 'Im told). I must admit, being mainly a GM guy, the Plymouth Cuda of the 70's have always interested me. I'm sure I'll will need a little (a lot) of good direction from you guys in my ventures. I've owned countless Camaros' pretty Corvettes, bad ass Nova's, many in "show" condition. But give me that "been through the storm", "battle wounded survivor", "dinosaur roaming the streets look" every time. I feel more proud of this old Plymouth than most of all the other cars I've owned. It's unreal how this car makes me feel! And I haven't drove it more than a mile so far! I own a 1970 Cuda !!. . I want to scream it from the rooftops! LMAO. Really..??.. how long until I stop pinching myself making sure it's reality? Having the same birthdate as your car is kinda kool too!! Almost down to the same build date _ I'm leaning on preserving rather than restoring.
