Glad to see you are saving that Challenger from the crusher. You have great fabrication skills and like you said, you enjoy it. Go for it!

I just realized I have a 440 that is pretty close too. It has a date of 8/4/69. The 383 is 3/18/70. The 440 could be a bit early but the 383 is about 2 months prior to the cars scheduled build date.

....But for me, the hardest part is giving the car "the kiss of death"! I hate to decide that they will not be coming back ever.....

Agree, that is a tough decision to make. But the reality is, SOME of them aren't worth the time and money required. In a perfect world with unlimited time and money all of them should/could be saved!
