Hey folks, redoing my engine wire harness in my 74 Rallye. It is a 318/Auto. Would've to see if any of you would mind posting correct placement of each of the 4 wire harness from the bulkhead out. Thanks so much.

Here is a diagram; http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/1974/74ChallengerA.JPG
The diagram shows the color of the wire and the place it plugs into.

Here is a related article that you should read and seriously consider the upgrade; Vintage Chrysler electrical repairs and updates

Adam, that was an excellent article in Alpar that you passed on, in updating wiring that could cause fires and or other problems. Read it myself. My wiring is all original with the rallye dash.
I am strongly considering separating out that amp gauge wire, just to be preventative.

Yes, a dash fire would be catastrophic.. and it is a really easy upgrade.
I made the switch when I upgraded my alternator to a Power master unit.. which would have been too much juice, in fact my bulkhead connector already had signs of heat damage with the stock set up.

I also and had Redline Gauge Works covert my old ammeter with voltmeter internals since I had the gauges out.

Here is part 2 of the article. This deals with the crappy 5 volt, voltage regulator, on the back of the rallye cluster; Vintage Chrysler electrical repairs and updates (part 2)

I made my own, but they are also available from places like this:
RTE limiter - rte

Great information guys, but what I was actually looking for was photos how the wires were installed on a challenger. I am trying to put mine back to factory original as the placement. Any photos would be super freaky fantastic! here is the cluster I have now

Ah, ok. But how stock can it be with the MSD box in plain view?
Anyway, you could wrap those wires together with self fusing silicone tape, like this:
Amazon product ASIN B017RBVFQ2The stuff will stand up to heat, has no glue, will not come un-done, and looks good.
I also like to use heat shrink tubing, but that is difficult once the harness is together.

Adam, your point is spot on, I am pitching the MSD and going back to original, hence the photos of original placement.
