headers for my '71 challenger small block

asked this before--need set of headers for my 71 challenger small block--360 heads---. set I bought, the pipe was dead tight against the torsion bar on both sides, no gap whatsoever. need suggestions.

Headers can be a great addition to your vehicle for performance, but understand most will need some "persuading". This is true of even the most expensive headers. This is due to the factory build tolerances and changes made to the car throughout the years. I know no one wants to put dents in their new headers, but sometimes that is necessary for clearance.

The 3 Chryco mentioned are you best options. And Rick is correct, sometimes you still need to make a small dent or two.
