I'm Topher. I have a 67 Charger, but am trying to help a friend find a Challenger. He's looking for a 70 T/A with a 440 and 4 speed. He wants to find a White one if possible. I look forward to learning more about E bodies, and hopefully becoming apart of this community as well.

Is there a place in here where I can go to learn about Cudas and Challengers? My friend is looking for a T/A or AAR car with either a 440 or 426. I was just told that those engines weren't available in these packages since they're for road racing. That makes since now that I think about it. I'd like to learn more so I can make a well educated buy for him.

Welcome to FEBO Topher. You are correct. The TAs and AARs came with 340 6-paks. Of course, I have seen some very nice re-creations with BBs in them. Does your friend want an original or is he ok with a clone with BB power?

Sorry it took so long to get back in here. I rebuild headlight, power window, and wiper motors and have been pretty busy in the shop. Add to that a full time job, 2 teenagers, a wife and 3 dogs and life gets a little full. It didn't take long to find my friend the car he wanted. Some friends of mine restore Mopars and in their shop they have some WAY cool rides they're working on. One of them is a '71 340 4 speed, 3:91 SG Dana, Shaker Hood car that is no less then STUNNING. He bought it.

So, if yaw will allow me to hang around from time to time I'll be sure to come back as often as I can.

So ... what about the T/A Challenger your friend is looking for?
Sounds like he found a nice `71 and bought it!. Obviously not a T/A, but sounds like a nice car.

Hey Topher, your welcome back anytime and bring some pics with you next time!.:D

How's this? The Red one is my buddy's 426 car. My Black one has a 383 and 4 speed. As far as the T/A-AAR go, the man fell in love with the car and it isn't finished yet ;)

He worked at the dealer when that car sold new and worked on it for the original owner. He's had the car for 26 years now(I think), I've had mine for 20 years.
