Is there any way to open the trunk of a 1973 challenger?
I lost the keys.
I was able to get a new key made by taking out a door cylinder. but now i need to get into the trunk.

If you can get into the cab you could take out the rear seat and get in to the trunk. Don't know if you could take out the cylinder with the trunk locked from the inside though. If you could get a lock smish out he should be able to make another key through trial and error.

I "Used" to be able to get in the truck that way. But that is when I was 20 years old and 25 lbs. thinner. The space to get into the trunck is small and a kid can do it easy.

Once inthe trunck, just move the arm over and it will pop open. Easy stuff if your thin enuff. LOL said the chubby guy behind the key board.

I agree with the guys above about getting into the trunk from the inside but if you want to save the lock cylinder I would drive down to a lock smith and he should be able to make you a key in just a few minutes. Good luck.

I would like to take it to the locksmith but the car is not driveable right now. I need parts that are in the trunk to finishput the motor in.
