Question, what would be considered a mid-year mopar? I ask, because some things changed mid-year and sense I bought my 71 Barracuda as a rolling shell, I'm trying to figure out which parts to buy. The build date is May 5th (Cinco de Mayo). This would definitely be mid-year?

I would say No, more a late built model. The 71' model production began August, 1st 1970.

That makes sense. Didn't they also shut the plants down in July to tool up for the next year's model? So June would likely be the last month of production?

I know some parts carried over from the 1970 model in early in the 71 builds. Leftover Shaker hoods and go wings were used up on early 71 model builds.
I am not aware of any "mid-year" model changes.

Obviously the seat backs changed in December 1970 time frame. That's the one that got me a few years back.

Also, the 70 Challenger WSS had F78x14 tires. The only sticker missing from it is the tire sticker. I've only seen ones for 71 Challengers and Barracudas. Would this be correct?
