Two Fender Tags - SPECIAL HANDLING CAR. Anyone seen this before?

Although rare, T/A hoods were installed on non T/A Challengers. Very rare. See page from the E-Body restoration guide. It even gives part numbers for the different engines.

Interesting that it says on the page of the book that the N94 reference hood code on a 70 T/A.
That is not a T/A. That is an N code. JH29N0B440490.

There are, as I can find, 5 challengers with the N94 hood that are documented.

Thanks Cuda! I did correspond w/ Terry about this back in 2010, though not as thoroughly.

As I posted in the restoration guide, David Wise is saying the TA hood did get used and documenting it with Fender Tag and/or broadcast sheet makes it a rare and believable option. And to me it makes sense that a 71 Hemi Challenger would have one! You could have a very unique Hemi Challenger! Obviously one that needs to be restored to concurs level for the masses to enjoy! Although I wouldn't mind you driving it like you stole it! 😁
