Gateway Classic Cars has listed a 70 Barracuda with the VIN number BH23L0Bxxxxxx.
They are stating in the ad that it is a real AAR Cuda, although the VIN code says it is not.

Appears to have a good restoration. Looks nice but not sure about the pedigree.
Thanks

I notice it appears to have had a standard dash at some point which wouldn't be surprising but fishy at best.

AAR's were only 340 6 bbl. cars. I have to agree with Matt. It is fishy.

The car is listed as a "tribute" car.
Beautiful car, but for that money, you can buy a real one!

It is today but was listed a "real" until they recently added tribute.
At least they did correct the error.

The listing says AAR Tribute. The fender tag is shown. Doesn't look like anyone is trying to pull a stunt.

For that kind of money, they should get the engine/engine bay details correct. Lots of things are not correct when you really start looking closely.

I sent them a note on ebay asking why they were listing it as a real AAR. I'm sure they got a hundred other notes asking the same.
