A friend has offered me a new FlowMaster exhaust system from his 70 Cuda for my 73 Challenger. I know there is a 2 inch diff. in wheel base. I am figuring I can make it up at the collector. Both rear ends are coming out of both cars so thats how we would get them out and back in. Has anyone ever don this?

Yes. You will need to make up the difference at the muffler or under the rear seat area. At least that is what I had to do. It will depend on the system. You will have to put it under the Challenger and see what is best for your system.

The difference will be in the head pipes (before the rear end). I don't know what a flowmaster setup looks like, but I work at Accurate Ltd and our E-body exhaust is the same from the resonators back to the mufflers.
