Need some help
I have a 73 cuda 340 and just got my engine back from Carolina machine engines and have started putting it back together.
So I am trying to understand if I need to use studs or header bolts for my TTI headers.
I have 6 header bolts on each side, the outer most holes on each head ( 2 each side ) are deeper than the center four and do not bottom out suggesting that they run into the water jacket.
Assuming I am correct what do you recommend studs with sealant or use the header bolts with sealant ?
What's the best way to do this ?
Thanks for your help
