Wiper motor not homing...

I have the typical (I believe) wiper motor not homing when the switch is turned off. I've heard different things like there is a disconnected wire inside the motor or a missing ground on the outside of the motor, but I couldn't find any particular post about it here anywhere.

I've also got to pull off one of the wiper arms and reposition it, because it stays too high on the glass and doesn't park below the glass. So I think I've just got to reposition the arm on the spindle.

2speed or variable speed? In either case, a good ground for the wiper switch is a must too.

Typically the wiper hangs up on the chrome trim & burns out the park switch

Lots of good info here. My picture in Post #42 shows the park switch contacts.
