Thanks R4, was hoping that is the case
I've have a 5.7 Hemi with the 6.4 cam in it in my Barracuda with an 8.75 rear since 2010. I've hammered on it quite a bit and it has held up just fine, no problems at all.Got the Cuda's 2018 5.7 HEMI heart beat 29K miles and 5 Speed AT delivered to the house today. Can't wait to test fit it into the car before I start on the body work, metal work is moving forward.
Have to cut the Trans tunnel as previous owner just welded in a new 4 Speed tunnel...... ( hope I can save it )
i need to gather more information for suspension upgrades? Recommendations for this restomod?
I Have the original 8 3/4 diff, as I did not plan on replacing so I ask, feedback how will hold up under a 5.7 ?
That is correct, I haven't gotten very far just yet due to other commitments but I do have the engine, engine harness/control system and a pile of other parts.Your 8 3/4 is plenty. Member @70chall440 is doing a resto mod with modern Hemi. He is
putting it in a '71 Charger I believe.
Nice!Hey Mopar friends, I hope you all had a great summer! as we head into fall, I hope to have the Barracuda back in the next month or two, can then put in the drivetrain before final paint... Started to get some of the QA1 front suspension it and am adding as we go.
