Reverse Light

I am a new member and I have a problem with my 70 Dodge Challenger. My reverse light stays on while in forward gears. When I put it in park it goes out, could some one help me with this problem.

Are your transmission linkages properly adjusted. Or it could be you need to replace the neutral safety switch (the three prong one on the trans).

could be a bad NNS switch on the trans or a mismatch between the valve body & switch years

What type of shifter do you have? Is it on the column or is it a Slapstick on the console?
